At the 49th Polish Film Festival in Gdynia, the Golden Lion statuette for Best Film was awarded to the crew of “Zielona Granica” (“Green Border”), directed by Agnieszka Holland. The Silver Lion was won by the production “Dziewczyna z igłą” (“The Girl with the Needle”), directed by Magnus von Horn.

Throughout the festival week in the Dr Irena Eris Beauty Zone, the Make Up Artists team prepared creators, actresses, and actors for daily premieres and debates. This award is presented to filmmakers who particularly distinguish themselves through their narrative courage and exceptional film aesthetics. This year, the award – a stay at the Dr Irena Eris Krynica Zdrój 12+ SPA Hotel – was presented to Kamila Tarabura for “Rzeczy niezbędne” (“Necessary Things”) and Monika Majorek for “Innego końca nie będzie” (“There Will Be No Other End”).
