To be in the same group as brands like Chanel, Dior, or Cartier? The Comité Colbert is an exclusive club dedicated to promoting the ideals of luxury and beauty. It comprises 95 prestigious French brands, 18 French cultural institutions, and 6 European brands. Among these is Dr Irena Eris – the only Polish and the only non-French cosmetic brand to be accepted as a European member.
Comité Colbert was founded in 1954 by Jean-Jacques Guerlain and, since 2020, has embraced the mission to “Passionately promote, patiently transmit, sustainably develop (…) craftsmanship and creativity to inspire dreams”. The future of luxury, according to the committee, hinges on its ability to pass on its foundational elements – know-how and creativity – to new generations.

In 2012, Dr Irena Eris became the only Polish brand to join the European members of Comité Colbert.

The Dr Irena Eris brand has been recognised for its international reach, for its innovation, ethical practices, and the highest quality of its products. The Comité Colbert emphasises the details that shape the brand’s philosophy, including its vision, core values, operational principles, language the brand uses to commu-
nicate with the world, and the beauty often described as the “poetry” of the product.
