One of the key events at the 17th edition of the Poland’s most visited film festival will be a retrospective of films by Jacques Rivette, the master of the French New Wave, realist and visionary, who passed away in January 2016. The festival further announces a review of New Israeli Cinema as well as the Polish premiere of “The Other Sideof Hope” by Aki Kaurismäki, a Silver Bear winner for Best Director at the recently concluded festival in Berlin.
